What is a trademark?
Trademark means any sign capable of being represented graphically which is capable of distinguishing goods or services of one undertaking from those of other undertakings. 
Sign includes any letter, word, name, signature, numeral, device, brand, heading, label, ticket, shape of goods or their packaging, colour, sound, scent, hologram, positioning, sequence of motion or any combination thereof.
A trademark is used as a marketing tool to enable customers to choose a product or services in the market place.

What is patent?
A patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention, which is a product or a process that provides a new way of doing something, or offers a technical solution to a problem. A utility innovation is an exclusive right granted for a ‘minor’ invention. 

What is an industrial design?
An industrial design is the overall appearance of an article or a product. The design may consist of three-dimension features such as the shape and configuration of an article, or two-dimension features, such as pattern and ornamentation. The design features must be applied to an article by an industrial process or means of which, the features in the finished article gives it a unique appearance.What is copyright?
Copyright is a protection given to authors, copyright owner and performer of their copyright work and performances as prescribe under the Copyright Act 1987.
